Welcome to 54th Street Elementary School. We are a hidden jewel in LAUSD with a legacy and history of educating African-American and Latino students by providing them with the academic rigor, culturally responsive pedagogy, and student-centered experiences they need to be ready for the world. We are committed to creating a safe and highly effective school community, dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each one of our scholars. We are collectively focused on developing students who are productive communicators, critical thinkers, and collaborative citizens who are ready to successfully navigate the educational, technological, and social demands of a 21st century world.
